Winter in Clarens

We make every effort to ensure that our guests are warm, no matter what the weather outside.   Wall panels heat the rooms, and there are electric blankets on the beds.   The Ouhout and WildeAls suites have fireplaces on the patios, and the Bosman and Shepherd's Loft suites have fireplaces in their lounge areas.   We even supply our guests with hot water bottles, and extra blankets in case of power outages.  Winter in Clarens can however be tough on our garden guests. (No electric blankets or fireplaces or warming panels.). So we put out birdseed and maize for them every morning and by daybreak we have duiker, guinea fowl and dozens of birds waiting for their early morning treat.
