At Home

Attention to detail gives The Clarens Country House that “home away from home” feeling. All the suites are serviced daily, and guests are invited to make the most of their individual suites, the garden and barbeque facilities.

Features & Amenities

On arrival, guests will find, their tea box stocked with a range of teas and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge, a jar biscuits to snack on, as well as a decanter of sherry, to help you get used to the altitude.

The kitchen areas are well equipped with a wide range of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, making it easy to prepare meals. Heating wall panels (even in the bathrooms) and electric blankets ensure that the bedrooms are warm and cosy, and the wood-burning stoves add that extra touch of warmth in even the coldest weather.
